Christine Davis is OnPoint’s Director of Forensic and Financial Accounting. Attorneys and clients retain Ms. Davis as a consulting or testifying expert in complex commercial litigation and regulatory matters. As a financial, accounting or damages expert, she assists in all phases of litigation by providing calculations, analytical insight and expert testimony by deposition and at trial.
Her assignments typically involve calculating economic damages, assessing a party’s ability to pay punitive damages, reconstructing business transactions based upon available evidence, interpreting internal company documents and financial reports, evaluating compliance with accounting standards, and determining if financial statements are materially misstated. She is also retained for cases involving accounting malpractice litigation and wage-and-hour claims. Ms. Davis’s expertise is further honed by her experience in valuing businesses and investigating allegations of occupational fraud.
Prior to joining OnPoint, Ms. Davis was the partner in charge of the Litigation Consulting and Forensic Accounting practice at DZH Phillips LLP, one of the largest accounting firms in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant in California and New York, she is a Certified Valuation Analyst and holds the Certified in Financial Forensics credential issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a designated Chartered Global Management Accountant in recognition of her technical expertise and many years of professional experience advising businesses and clients. She has been a speaker for various continuing education programs sponsored by the Bar Association of San Francisco, Continuing Education of the Bar of California, Practising Law Institute, the AICPA, and the California CPA Education Foundation. She also holds an Arbitrator Certificate issued by the Bar Association of San Francisco.

As a forensic CPA and litigation consultant for 20 years, Ms. Davis has the frontline experience to interpret complex financial information, and the expertise to communicate her findings with clarity and intentionality.
