Dr. Eva Shapiro is an Economist at OnPoint specializing in applied microeconomics, econometrics, public economics, and industrial organization. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California at Santa Cruz, her Master of Public Administration from the London School of Economics, and her BA in Economics from Princeton University. Eva’s academic work includes research on vehicle safety regulation, technological innovation, merger regulation, immigration policy, and public education. She has a particular fondness for the application of quasi-experimental econometric methods to questions of public policy. When she’s not working on cases, Eva enjoys exploring San Francisco Bay Area hiking trails and backpacking in the Sierras.
