James Payne is a Research Analyst at OnPoint. He earned his M.A. in Economics from the University of British Columbia where he wrote his master’s research estimating corporation’s incentives to violate laws regarding labor unions. He earned his B.A. in Philosophy and Economics from Rollins College where he served as captain of the debate team. Prior to joining OnPoint he worked as a freelance data scientist for epidemiology projects and as a legal assistant. When he’s not working James enjoys all things live music and reading philosophy and world literature.
