Michael Marx

Michael Marx heads the internal accounting team for OnPoint Analytics. Prior to working at OnPoint, Michael owned two businesses in Oakland, prepared tax returns and performed financial audits with public accounting firms, and worked as a Revenue Agent performing tax audits at the IRS. Michael is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and also has his own consulting and bookkeeping business with a wide range of clients including lawyers and technology companies. Michael considers both UC Berkeley and Cal State East Bay as his alma maters. He has an MBA, and is a CPA (inactive) and member of the Phi Betta Kappa Society. As much as Michael loves to crunch numbers, you may also find him enjoying the outdoors on a long hike in the East Bay Hills or the Sierras, or looking for bears (from a safe distance) at Lassen National Park.
