Dr. Henry is an Economist at OnPoint with over 10 years of experience across economic consulting, industry, academia, and U.S. federal government. Prior to joining OnPoint, Dr. Henry leveraged his economic expertise to support academic experts and staff on diverse healthcare antitrust litigation matters, primarily within the pharmaceutical industry.
Specifically, he worked as an applied econometrician on high-profile economic consulting cases involving allegations of improper marketing and fraudulent drug promotion, the measurement of economic damages, and the measurement of market power in cases alleging delays of generic drug entry due to anticompetitive conduct.
Prior to that, Dr. Henry worked as an economist focusing on workers’ compensation insurance, health insurance, and employment. He also served as a visiting assistant professor of statistics and econometrics at the University of Oklahoma. While pursuing his doctoral studies, he worked as an economist at the USDA’s Economic Research Service, contributing to the enhancement of a nationwide database using heuristic algorithms and multiple sequential imputation procedures.
Dr. Henry holds a Ph.D. in economics from Washington State University, specializing in econometrics and industrial organization. Additionally, he holds a MS in statistics, a MS in applied economics with a focus on microeconomics, and a certification in applied machine learning and data science from Columbia University. His research has been published in Econometrics, Industrial and Labor Relations Review, Water Resources and Economics, and the International Journal of Computational Economics and Econometrics.
