Nirav Shedge graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Mumbai, India. Later, Nirav earned his master’s degree in Applied Economics, with a specific focus on causal inference and econometrics from the George Washington University, Washington, DC.

Prior to joining OnPoint Analytics, Nirav worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) where he classified textual data on macroeconomic factors and built robust datasets to train sophisticated Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms to interpret human sentiment. Before his stint at the IMF, Nirav worked as an Analyst intern at Analysis Group where he performed economic research and statistical analysis for various Intellectual Property litigation cases involving patent infringement and breach of contract.

When he is not working, Nirav loves to go out for a run, spend time catching up with friends, and read non-fiction books to help challenge his thoughts and perspectives.
